Details: Over the course of the year, emergency crews carried out 491,756 deployments to locations affected by Russian attacks. A total of 7,757 people were rescued from under debris.
SES firefighters also extinguished 92,892 fires in homes, hospitals, factories and industrial facilities.
In addition, rescue workers surveyed 25,483 hectares of land and neutralised 86,310 explosive ordnance items.
"These figures are not just statistics. They are days without sleep. Decisions made in seconds. Risks that become daily work. We have suffered losses – and that is precisely why we have learned to value life even more. Every single life.
[…] The State Emergency Service is hands that lead people out of danger. It is the voice of a psychologist helping someone breathe again after loss. It is evacuations where the count is not in kilometres, but in lives saved. 365 days a year. Tens of thousands of first responders – men and women – go on duty not for the sake of numbers, but for you. And for life," the SES said in conclusion.
