Details: DIU has released a video showing the commander of the Tymur Special Unit reporting to Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, Head of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. Kapustin is also present at the online meeting.

Budanov is informed that the organisers of the crime on the Russian secret services' side have been identified, as have the perpetrators, and that the money paid by the Russian secret services for the crime to be carried out has been received.

"As of now, the RVC commander is on the territory of Ukraine and is preparing to carry out assigned tasks," Budanov is told.

Kapustin himself says in the video that his "temporary absence had no impact on the work of the units".

Budanov notes that the funds received from those who ordered Kapustin's killing have been channelled into the fight against Russia.

Background: On 27 December, the Russian Volunteer Corps reported that its commander Denis Kapustin had been killed while carrying out a combat mission on the Zaporizhzhia front.
