Details: Syrskyi reported that the participants had discussed in detail how defensive positions are equipped, the state of anti-drone protection, and the level of preparedness of populated areas for defence. Particular attention was paid to problematic issues, with specific steps identified to address them.
The general said that engineers from the Support Forces, working in close cooperation with local authorities and military administrations, are "virtually continuously" engaged in creating extensive trench and dugout systems, constructing anti-tank ditches and building bunkers and other fortification elements.

Quote: "In 2025, the condition of engineering fortifications and anti-drone protection has improved. A large amount of work has been carried out to prepare settlements for defence. Nevertheless, these measures must continue to be implemented systematically and consistently.
The experience of defending the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad agglomeration clearly demonstrates that timely and high-quality fortifications and engineering obstacles make it possible to build effective defences, inflict maximum losses on the enemy on the approaches, and disrupt their plans – even when the adversary has numerical superiority."
