I have proposed Mykhailo Fedorov as the new defence minister.

Mykhailo is deeply engaged in work on the Drone Line and delivers very strong results in the digitalisation of state services and processes.

Together with all our military personnel, the military command, national arms manufacturers and Ukraine's partners, we need to implement changes in the defence sector that will help."

Details: Zelenskyy said that Fedorov would be able to implement all the changes and add a stronger technological dimension.

The president added that he had proposed Denys Shmyhal, who currently heads the Ministry of Defence, to lead another area that is "no less important for our resilience."
