Attack by over 20 drones reported in Moscow, airports impose restrictions

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has claimed that 23 drones bound for Moscow have been shot down, resulting in restrictions being imposed at three of the capital's four airports.

Details: As of 16:00, Sobyanin reported that 23 drones were heading towards Moscow.

Earlier, restrictions had been imposed affecting operations at Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports.

Meanwhile, Kursk Oblast Governor Alexander Khinshtein claimed that more than 11,000 people in the region had been left without electricity after a Ukrainian attack.

He said Ukrainian UAVs had attacked an energy facility in the village of Khomutovka, leading to power cuts in 115 settlements.
