Russians advance in several settlements in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts – DeepState

DeepState, a Ukrainian group of military analysts, reported on the night of 6-7 January that Russian forces had advanced along several sections of the line of contact in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.

Details: Russian troops have advanced near the settlements of Rusyn Yar and Nove Shakhove and in Fedorivka in Donetsk Oblast.

They have also advanced near the village of Dorozhnianka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Background: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported at 22:00 that 200 combat clashes had occurred on the battlefield since the beginning of 6 January. Russian forces launched 1 missile strike and 54 airstrikes, used 4,073 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,552 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements.
