Death toll rises after Russian strike on ports in Odesa Oblast

The death toll from the Russian attack on the ports of Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi in Odesa Oblast has risen to two.

Quote: "Sadly, the number of people killed in the attack has risen to two. My sincere condolences to their family and loved ones. A further eight people have been injured and all are receiving the necessary medical care."

Details: Kiper added that all emergency services are working at the scene.

Background: It was reported that Russia had carried out a combined missile and drone strike on port infrastructure in Odesa Oblast on the Wednesday afternoon of 7 January. One death had been reported at the time.
