Three people were killed and seven injured in Russian attacks on Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts on 7 January.

Details: Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration reported that Russian forces had conducted 698 attacks on 30 settlements in the oblast over the past day.

Five people were injured. The assaults included 11 airstrikes, 412 drone attacks of various types, mostly FPVs, 6 strikes from multiple-launch rocket systems and 269 artillery strikes.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration received 39 reports of damage to houses and cars.

The city of Kherson and several other settlements in Kherson Oblast came under drone attacks, airstrikes and artillery shelling.

Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas, damaging three high-rise residential buildings and seven houses, a mobile phone tower, a church and cars.

These attacks resulted in three fatalities and left two people injured.
