Six people were injured in Russian strikes on Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts on 2 March.

Details: Over the past 24 hours, Kherson and a number of settlements across Kherson Oblast came under drone attacks, airstrikes and artillery shelling.

Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas. Five apartment buildings and seven houses were damaged, along with a gas pipeline and cars. Four people were injured.

Prokudin also said that during a night-time drone attack, air defence forces shot down three Shahed drones over the region. One person was evacuated from a recently liberated hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Russian forces carried out 766 strikes on 35 settlements over the past day. Two people were injured. Regional authorities reported receiving 107 reports of damage to homes, vehicles and infrastructure.
