Explosions have been reported in Odesa Oblast at the seaport.

Details: Kiper reported that an empty oil storage tank was damaged, but no fire broke out. No information about casualties or injuries has been received.

Background:
- Repair work is ongoing in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast to provide heat and water to a million subscribers after Russian attacks. Centralised systems have been partially restored in several settlements.
- On 7 January, Russia attacked critical infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, causing emergency power outages.
- It was reported that a significant number of consumers in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were left without power in the morning as a result of a large-scale drone attack overnight.
- In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as of the morning of 8 January, boiler houses were powered up and reconnected from generators to centralised networks, and after a seven-hour blackout caused by the Russian attack, power supply was fully restored.
