Fires have broken out in the city of Kyiv following a Russian drone attack on the night of 11-12 January.

Quote: "A drone struck a non-residential building in the Solomyansky district, causing a fire, which has now been contained."

Details: Another fire broke out at a different location in the same district.

"Weapons debris fell near a residential building. The blast shattered windows and caused a fire. Emergency services are working at the scenes," Klitschko added.

Background: Russian forces conducted a drone attack on Ukraine on the night of 11-12 January. Explosions were heard in Kyiv and air defences were responding. Earlier, it was reported that a fire had broken out in one of Kyiv's districts.
