Successful raid on Russian positions in Donetsk Oblast shown in new video by Ukrainian special forces

Operatives from the 8th Regiment of Ukraine's Special Operations Forces (SOF) have conducted a successful raid on one of the fronts in Donetsk Oblast.

Details: The SOF reported that a special-purpose group conducted a raid on a Russian position. Two Russian servicemen were killed at an observation post. Three more Russian soldiers hid in a dugout. The decisive actions of the SOF operatives forced the Russians to surrender.

The press service explained that operations in extreme winter conditions in the Russian rear require fighters not only to follow different protocols for clothing selection, camouflage and handling critical equipment, but also to maintain a high level of physical and mental readiness.

Quote: "A separate role is played by staff planning and working through 'what if' scenarios. Beyond the SOF group's immediate actions, a drone unit, a fire support unit, an electronic warfare unit and other elements were also involved."
