Drones attack military and aircraft repair plants in Russia's Taganrog

The governor of Russia's Rostov Oblast has reported a drone attack on the region on the morning of 13 January. Explosions have been heard in the city of Taganrog, and according to Russian Telegram channels, the Atlant Aero plant, which produces components for drones, and the Beriev Aircraft Company have been hit.

Quote from Slyusar: "Air defence forces are repelling an aerial attack on Taganrog now [at around 06:00 on 13 January]. There have been no reports of civilian casualties. Information on damage on the ground is being confirmed. I urge everyone to stay cautious, follow the instructions of emergency services, avoid going outside and don't approach the windows."
Details: Astra, citing local residents, reported that the strikes had hit the Atlant Aero plant and the Beriev Aircraft Company.
Atlant Aero focuses on the development of Orion UAVs and FPV drones. The company produces components for attack drones, control systems and electronic warfare equipment.
Later, Slyusar claimed that seven drones had been downed over Taganrog and the Krasny Sulin district, adding that "an industrial facility in Taganrog was damaged".
Artamonov reported a drone attack on the city of Yelets was targeted. Falling debris caused fires there.
The Russian Defence Ministry said air defence systems had destroyed 11 Ukrainian drones overnight. Seven were downed over Rostov Oblast, one over Belgorod Oblast, one over Kursk Oblast and one over Oryol Oblast as well as one over temporarily occupied Crimea.
