A Russian attack caused significant damage to two energy facilities in Odesa belonging to DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy company, on the night of 12-13 January.

Details: Around 47,000 households are currently without electricity as a result of the attack.

"The damage is extensive, and repair will take time. We are doing everything possible to restore power to every home as quickly as we can," the energy company said.

Background: On the night of 12-13 January, the Russians once again attacked a thermal power plant belonging to DTEK, causing significant damage to equipment.
