Medics in Kharkiv Oblast battle to save life of boy, 11, who came under Russian attack while out tobogganing
Doctors are currently fighting to save the life of a boy who was injured during a Russian attack on Kharkiv Oblast while he was out walking. He is now in intensive care.

Details: On 13 January, the 11-year-old boy was sledging in the Kupiansk district when the Russian attack occurred. He sustained blast injuries as a result of the attack.
The oblast administration added that the area is not on the list of locations in Kharkiv Oblast that are subject to mandatory evacuation.
The boy was immediately taken to the regional children's clinical hospital. His condition is reported to have been critical due to the level of pain and haemorrhagic shock. Doctors performed urgent surgery, which lasted over three hours.
The boy has been on a ventilator since the operation and is still in a serious condition. Medics are doing everything possible to save his life.
Background: On 2 January, a Russian attack on Kharkiv killed Anastasiia Parkhomenko, 22, and her three-year-old son Maksym.
