Russian drone hits playground in central Lviv – video

A Russian drone has hit a children's playground in the centre of the city of Lviv on the morning of 15 January.

Quote: "Early reports indicated that an enemy attack drone had hit the centre of Lviv. Emergency services have been dispatched to the scene."

Details: Kozytskyi later added that the drone had hit a children's playground on Stepan Bandera Street in Lviv.

Early reports indicated no casualties.

Update: Sadovyi posted a video from the scene.

"The blast wave slightly affected a tractor driver who was clearing snow nearby, but he is fine," the mayor said.

He added that the explosion had also shattered windows at a building of Lviv Polytechnic University and in nearby residential buildings.

"Mytropolyta Andreia Street and Sheptytskykh Street have been temporarily closed due to the enemy attack on Lviv. Private and public transport are currently not operating there. Trolleybus routes No. 27, No. 32 and No. 38 are suspended as a result," Sadovyi said.
