Quote: "This is necessary so that everyone who currently has no electricity, water or heating can receive the assistance they need. The measures are essentially the same as those in effect during air raids."
Details: Shmyhal added that, in the meantime, the police are increasing street patrols to maintain public order and provide assistance to citizens as needed.
Background:
- The Cabinet of Ministers (Ukrainian government) has introduced amendments to the procedure governing measures during the imposition of a curfew.
- Ukraine's Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko said the government may ease the curfew in areas where a power supply emergency has been declared.
