Six Ukrainian oblasts came under Russian attack overnight – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Russia launched 201 drones against six Ukrainian oblasts on the night of 17-18 January.

Details: The regions under attack included Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi and Odesa oblasts.
Zelenskyy added that dozens of adults and one child were injured, and two people were killed.
Over the past week, Russia has launched 1,300 attack drones, around 1,050 guided aerial bombs and 29 missiles of various types against Ukraine, the president reported.
Quote: "That is why Ukraine still needs more protection – above all, more missiles for air defence systems. If Russia is deliberately dragging out the diplomatic process, the world's response must be decisive: more assistance for Ukraine and more pressure on the aggressor."
Background: On the night of 17-18 January, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 201 UAVs. Ukrainian air defence forces shot down or jammed 167 drones.
