  • According to a draft charter for the proposed group seen by Bloomberg, the Board of Peace is described as "an international organisation that seeks to promote stability, restore dependable and lawful governance and secure enduring peace in areas affected or threatened by conflict".
  • Sources told Bloomberg that Trump has invited Argentina and Canada as well as several European countries to join the Board of Peace for Gaza, which would be formed under the broader umbrella of his new Board of Peace.
  • The idea of the Board of Peace first appeared in the ceasefire agreement for the Gaza Strip.
