Zelenskyy approves deputy Air Force commander candidate to oversee short-range air defence

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a meeting with Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, during which they approved the candidacy of a deputy commander of the Air Force of Ukraine who will be responsible for Ukraine's system of short-range air defence.

First, personnel decisions have been approved that are intended to strengthen our defence. Among them is the appointment of a new Deputy Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who will be responsible for the short-range air defence system."
Details: The president said that the deputy commander's task is to transform the use of interceptors, the work of mobile fire groups, and other units so that they operate with 100% effectiveness.
Secondly, Zelenskyy noted that an audit of the supply of weapons and necessary equipment to the troops is ongoing. "There must be a guaranteed number of drones for every combat brigade," the president said.
Thirdly, Zelenskyy said that the development of a technological system for monitoring the battlefield and the actual destruction of the Russians is continuing. "The task is to launch tools for the fastest possible analysis of every enemy strike and every one of our combat operations," the president said.
