Ukraine's defence forces have captured a Russian soldier responsible for the execution of Ukrainian POWs in Russia's Kursk Oblast in October 2025.

Quote: "A report by Oleksandr Poklad. The Russian serviceman responsible for the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war in October of last year in Kursk Oblast has been taken captive. Every Russian murderer must be held accountable for their actions.

And so it will be. We are also countering Russian sabotage in the rear – I thank the Security Service of Ukraine for protecting our citizens."
