Quote: "The Russian strike involved a significant number of ballistic and cruise missiles. Plus more than 300 attack drones... The most difficult situation for now is in Kyiv, where a significant number of residential buildings are without heating."

Details: Zelenskyy reported that the city of Kyiv and oblast, as well as Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Sumy and other oblasts, were under attack.

"Our air defence forces intercepted a significant number of aerial assets. The day before this strike, we finally received the necessary missiles, which helped significantly," he added.

Zelenskyy emphasised that every support package matters, particularly the critically needed missiles for the Patriots, NASAMS and other air defence systems.

"The direct task of our entire diplomatic system is to ensure that Ukraine has sufficient air defence capabilities. And partners must not fail to deliver on this – air defence missiles are real protection for human life," Zelenskyy stated.
He added that it is important for the world not to remain silent about the aggressor's crimes.
"Russia cannot be on an equal footing with other countries in the world as long as it is focused solely on killing and tormenting people," the president concluded.
