Trump says Greenland deal framework has been agreed and promises not to impose tariffs on European countries

US President Donald Trump has announced that he has formed the framework for a future deal on Greenland during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

Details: Trump said that as a result of agreements reached with Rutte, he no longer plans to impose tariffs on some European countries.
He gave no details of the agreement, but said it will be "great" for the United States and NATO.
Quote: "Based upon a very productive meeting that I have had with the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, we have formed the framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland and, in fact, the entire Arctic Region. This solution, if consummated, will be a great one for the United States of America, and all NATO Nations."
More details: Trump said that discussions are continuing around the "Golden Dome", a US missile defence system that is also intended to cover Greenland.
Talks on the deal will be handled by US Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff.
