Battlefield sees over 200 clashes, almost half of them occurring on Pokrovsk front – Ukraine's General Staff
The Russians are continuing to push along the entire line of contact. A total of 222 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day, with the most challenging situation remaining on the Pokrovsk front.

Quote: "According to updated information, yesterday [on 22 January] the invaders carried out one missile strike and 85 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory, using one missile and dropping 226 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 5,862 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,545 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces and on populated areas, including 83 using multiple-launch rocket systems."
Details: On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, three combat clashes occurred.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians stormed Ukrainian units' positions 12 times near the settlements of Prylipka, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory and Ambarne and towards Izbytske.
On the Kupiansk front, a Russian attack occurred near the village of Synkivka.
On the Lyman front, the Russians conducted 10 attacks, attempting to advance near the settlements of Myrne, Drobysheve, Kolodiazi, Zarichne, Yampil and Yampolivka.
On the Sloviansk front, Russian troops attacked five times near the settlements of Sviato-Pokrovske, Pazeno and Siversk.
On the Kramatorsk front, there were seven combat clashes near the settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Chasiv Yar and towards Markove.
On the Kostiantynivka front, the Russians conducted 20 attacks near the settlements of Predtechyne, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar and Sofiivka.
On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian forces repelled 92 Russian assaults and offensive operations near the settlements of Shakhove, Ivanivka, Dorozhnie, Rodynske, Sukhetske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Horikhove and Dachne and towards Bilytske and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the Russians conducted 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Verbove, Stepove, Vyshneve and Krasnohirske and towards Nechaivka.
On the Huliaipole front, Russian forces attempted to advance 37 times near the settlements of Solodke, Varvarivka and Huliaipole and towards Zelene and Dobropillia.
On the Orikhiv front, Ukrainian forces repelled a Russian attack near the village of Plavni.
On the Prydniprovske front, the Russians conducted an unsuccessful attempt to advance.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine's Rocket Forces and Artillery hit two clusters of Russian military personnel and an artillery piece belonging to the Russians.
