Zelenskyy has spoken to Ukrainian delegation ahead of UAE talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called Ukraine's negotiating team to discuss strategy before the start of talks in Abu Dhabi.

Quote: "Dear journalists, I have just held consultations with Ukraine's negotiating group. Before the start of the talks we discussed the issues, I spoke to the head of the delegation, Rustem Umierov, on speakerphone. Our whole group was there, we spoke with everyone, everyone understands what to do.

We discussed the framework of the negotiations, the topics and the desired results. We also discussed that the formats can be different. The team will make decisions on the ground and adjust its approach depending on how the dialogue will develop. Because this is the first time talks have taken place in this format in a long time."

Details: Zelenskyy said he will remain in constant contact with the team, speaking with them at different stages of the talks. He also said he will keep the media informed about the progress of the meeting.
