Ukraine-Russia talks resume in Abu Dhabi under US mediation
Negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, under the mediation of the United States, have resumed in Abu Dhabi.

Details: The talks form part of a trilateral process aimed at ending the almost four-year war.
The meetings begin in the capital of the United Arab Emirates on Friday. Rustem Umierov, a chief negotiator and Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, said that the discussions were focused on ending the Russo-Ukrainian war and the further logic of the negotiation process.
The US delegation includes US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, Commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Service Josh Gruenbaum, US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and Alexus Grynkewich, US European Command and NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe.
The Russian delegation includes representatives of military intelligence and the armed forces.
Background: Before the talks began, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow insists on the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Donbas, presenting it as a key condition for negotiations to end the war.
