Up to 40 people injured and 170 facilities damaged overnight, says Ukrainian interior minister

Russia has killed a person and injured about 40 others, including two children, during a combined attack across Ukraine on the night of 23-24 January.

Quote: "One person has been killed in Kyiv, about 40 people across Ukraine are injured.

More than 170 facilities have been damaged: energy infrastructure, more than 60 apartment buildings and 80 civilian vehicles."

Details: Klymenko added that nearly 11,000 invincibility centres are operating nationwide. [Invincibility centres are heated premises stocked with food and power banks to assist residents facing hardships due to power cuts – ed.]

Background: On the night of 23-24 January, Russian forces conducted a combined strike on Ukraine using a mix of air-launched and ground-launched missiles as well as attack drones. A total of 396 aerial assets have been deployed; 372 aerial assets were destroyed or jammed.
