Power engineer injured in Russian attack on Mykolaiv

A power engineer was injured in a Russian attack on the city of Mykolaiv on Sunday 25 January. He has been taken to hospital.

Volodymyr sustained shrapnel injuries to his limbs. He has been promptly taken to a medical facility, where he is receiving all necessary care. The company will monitor the course of his rehabilitation."

Details: The explosions also caused significant damage to energy equipment belonging to the power company.

Background: On 25 January, Oleksandr Pytaichuk, a 31-year-old climber from Ukraine's State Emergency Service, died while carrying out repairs at an energy facility in Kyiv.
