Quote: "I am continuing my work on the Pokrovsk and Ocheretyne fronts, where the enemy is concentrating its main efforts. The operational situation here is difficult. Around 400 combat clashes have taken place in these areas in the past week alone.
The aggressor has not abandoned its attempts to break through, increasing pressure and bringing up reserves. Our key task is to inflict maximum losses on the enemy, destroy its reserves and consistently reduce its offensive potential."
Details: Syrskyi said that while working directly on the ground together with unit commanders, he is conducting a detailed analysis of the course of hostilities. The Russians have continued to use tactics involving advances by small infantry groups. Their timely detection, containment and destruction require constant battlefield monitoring, clear coordination between units and flexible tactical decisions.
Particular attention is being paid to strengthening unmanned systems units – primarily the use of strike drones to hit the Russians – as well as to developing logistics with the involvement of robotic systems.
Background: The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported that as of the morning of 26 January, 138 combat clashes had been recorded across the front line over the past day. On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 41 assault actions.
