Quote: "In a modern technological war it is essential to understand the direction of innovation, anticipate Russian plans and develop products capable of changing the course of events on the battlefield. We are strengthening this area with people who have already demonstrated real capacity to deliver these tasks.
Serhii 'Flash' Beskrestnov is now my adviser on technology-related areas of defence. He is one of the strongest practical experts in the field of drones, electronic warfare and analysing the adversary's solutions. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Flash has been working directly on the battlefield and conducting training for soldiers in the hottest areas."
Details: Fedorov said Beskrestnov will analyse captured Russian equipment and assess new military developments.
Quote: "We need not ideas on paper, but solutions that genuinely work in combat right now.
Today war is mathematics, technology and the speed of decision-making. We must not simply react, but build a system that constantly learns and becomes stronger."
Background: Fedorov appointed Serhii Sternenko, a Ukrainian volunteer and founder of a charity that supplies FPV drones to the Ukrainian military, as adviser on increasing the use of UAVs on the battlefield.
