Russian forces abandon positions on Oleksiivskyi Island in Kherson Oblast

Russian forces have abandoned their positions on Oleksiivskyi Island in Kherson Oblast.

Quote: "On Oleksiivskyi Island, our intelligence records the abandonment of positions. This happened as a result of active actions by Ukraine's defence forces and the low morale and psychological state of the [Russian] soldiers who were on those positions."

Details: Voloshyn said that Russian forces are unable to restore observation posts on the island.

He added that on the Kherson front, Russian troops are regrouping and moving units to the Orikhiv front.

Quote: "From the Kherson front, the enemy is currently regrouping and removing airborne units, transferring them to the Orikhiv front to maintain momentum of assault operations."
