Russian attack on Lviv Oblast sets oil products on fire

A Russian attack on Brody in Lviv Oblast has led to petroleum products catching fire and smoke spreading throughout the city.

Details: Brody City Council has reported an emergency situation in which smoke spread as a result of burning petroleum products.
Residents have been advised to keep windows tightly shut and not go outside unless necessary.
"If needed, wear a dampened mask or respirator. This is of particular importance for individuals with chronic respiratory conditions," the statement reads.
Air quality measurements are being carried out in populated areas to check for harmful substances from combustion products. The results will be reported later.
Maksym Kozytskyi, Head of Lviv Oblast Military Administration, has reported that Russian forces attacked an infrastructure facility in Lviv Oblast.
"All the appropriate services are working at the scene. Early reports indicate no casualties or injuries," he wrote.
Background:
- On the night of 26-27 January, Russian forces attacked with 165 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, including jet-powered ones, as well as Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones; about 100 of them were Shaheds.
