Emergency workers have found the bodies of three people under the rubble in Odesa during search and rescue operations after a Russian attack on the night of 26-27 January.

Details: Lysak expressed his condolences to the man's family and said that search and rescue efforts were ongoing.

Update: Shalyhailo reported that one of those killed was an elderly man. Six children are among those injured. Nine people have been taken to hospital, with one person in a serious condition.

He also said that the Russians had deliberately targeted civilian residential areas. Shalyhailo added that almost 50 apartment buildings were damaged, and 10 buildings sustained significant damage.

Later, Lysak reported that emergency workers recovered the body of another man while clearing the rubble of a destroyed building on Prokhorivska Street.

"There are now two fatalities in the city as a result of the attack. The search and rescue operation is ongoing," he wrote.

Update: Later, Lysak reported that a third fatality had been confirmed. The body of a woman was recovered from under the rubble.
