Power outages due to hostilities reported in frontline regions of Ukraine

Power equipment was damaged in Ukraine's frontline regions on 30 January, resulting in power outages for consumers in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.

Details: Repair work is being carried out wherever the security situation currently allows.
The Ministry of Energy reported that more than 270 settlements in Odesa, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts remain without power due to bad weather.
Regional power company crews are working around the clock to repair the damaged lines.
Background: Philip Morris Ukraine reported that part of its factory in Kharkiv was damaged by a Russian missile strike on the night of 29-30 January.
