Ukrainian forces deny claims of Zlahoda in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast falling under Russian control

Ukraine's defence forces have dismissed reports claiming that the settlement of Zlahoda on the border of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts has come under Russian control.

Quote from Voloshyn: "Some of our media outlets have circulated unverified reports claiming that the settlement of Zlahoda, on the border of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, has fallen under Russian control."
Details: Voloshyn said Ukrainian troops are continuing to hold their positions in the settlement.
"These reports do not correspond to reality. Our service members are present in the settlement and are holding our positions there," the spokesperson stressed.
Voloshyn added that stable communications and logistical support for the units are being maintained.
Quote from the 110th Separate Mechanised Brigade: "Heavy fighting continues daily near Zlahoda. Units from the 110th Brigade are holding their positions, preventing the enemy from advancing and systematically wiping out the occupiers."
Background: DeepState, a Ukrainian group of military analysts, reported that the Russian military had occupied the settlement of Zlahoda (formerly Pershotravneve until 2024) in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
