US businessman Elon Musk has responded to a request from Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov for help in addressing the problem of Russian attack drones using Starlink satellite internet.

Details: Fedorov had thanked Musk and SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell "for their swift response and for immediately beginning work on a solution".

The minister also thanked Musk for providing Ukraine with Starlinks at the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, which he said had been "critical to the resilience of our state".

Musk responded: "You're most welcome."

Background: On 25 January, Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, a Ukrainian military radio technology expert who has been appointed as an adviser to Fedorov on technology-related matters, reported that Russian forces have likely been using Starlink satellite internet to operate Shahed loitering munitions.
