One killed and 24 injured in Russian attacks on four Ukrainian oblasts – photos

Russian forces attacked Sumy, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts on 3 February, killing one person and injuring 24 others, including two children.

Details: Russian forces struck 32 settlements in Sumy Oblast. Police reported that a 40-year-old man had been killed and three people injured.

The attacks damaged 6 apartment buildings and 13 houses, 7 cars, outbuildings, a shop, a lyceum (a specialised secondary school) and student accommodation. Investigators and bomb disposal experts examined the sites of the strikes and documented the damage.

One person was injured in Donetsk Oblast. Filashkin noted that the total number of casualties is given without taking the city of Mariupol and the town of Volnovakha into account.
Russian forces used drones, aircraft and artillery to attack several settlements in Kherson Oblast, particularly the city of Kherson.
Prokudin reported that four people had been injured. The attacks damaged critical and social infrastructure and residential areas: three apartment blocks, 12 houses, a gas pipeline, a warehouse, agricultural machinery and a car.
Update: Russian forces attacked the city of Kharkiv and 11 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast over the past day.
Two men, aged 57 and 28, and several women aged between 23 and 90 were injured in Kharkiv. Four adults, a 10-year-old girl and a 5-month-old boy were injured in the village of Kamiana Yaruha in the Chuhuiv hromada. Two people were injured in Zarichne and one woman sustained injuries in Lypchanivka. Medical treatment was also provided to a man injured in the Russian attack on Khotimlia on 1 February. Russian forces struck the Saltivskyi, Novobavarskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv. They used multiple-launch rocket systems, guided aerial bombs and various types of drones to attack Kharkiv Oblast.
The attacks damaged seven apartment buildings, a warehouse and power lines in Kharkiv. A commercial building and a shop were hit in the Bohodukhiv district. Two houses were damaged in the Izium district. A car, a medical station and a house were affected in the Kharkiv district. Several houses and electrical networks were destroyed in the Chuhuiv district.
Background: Ukraine's Air Force reported that Russia had attacked Ukraine with 105 Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas loitering munitions as well as drones of other types since the evening of 3 February. Ukrainian air defences managed to down 88 drones, although some locations were hit. The attack is still ongoing.
