Ukraine's State Statistics Service reports faster economic growth in fourth quarter of 2025

Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 3% in the fourth quarter of 2025 compared with the fourth quarter of 2024.

It is noted that, compared with the previous quarter, real GDP increased by 0.7% after seasonal adjustment.
In the previous quarter, this figure stood at 0.8%.
Background:
- At the end of January, the National Bank lowered its overall GDP growth forecast for 2025 from 1.9% to 1.8%.
- Meanwhile, in mid-January, the Ministry of Economy estimated Ukraine's GDP growth at 2.2%. In 2024, GDP grew by 2.9%.
- The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) revised its 2026 GDP growth forecast down from 2.2% to 1.8%, citing the impact of Russian attacks on the energy sector.
