Prisoner swap with Russia is expected soon, Zelenskyy says

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that a prisoner of war exchange is expected soon following the first round of talks with Russia and the United States in Abu Dhabi.

Quote: "There will also be an important step: we expect a prisoner of war exchange soon. We must bring our prisoners home."

Details: Zelenskyy also said that he received a report from the Ukrainian delegation after the meeting in Abu Dhabi with delegations from Russia and the United States.

Quote: "There was also contact with the US side. [Ukrainian delegates] Rustem Umierov, Kyrylo Budanov and Davyd Arakhamiia briefed me on it. The guys stayed in touch. We discussed the interim results of the talks today. They will continue tomorrow."

Background: On 30 January, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia had halted prisoner exchanges because it does not feel that it gains anything from them.
