Russia attacks Ukraine with 2 Iskander missiles and 183 drones, 156 UAVs downed

Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 183 drones of various types since the evening of 4 February. Ukrainian air defences have managed to destroy 156 drones, but hits have been recorded at 16 locations. The attack is ongoing.

Details: The missiles were launched from temporarily occupied Crimea, while the drones came from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from temporarily occupied Donetsk. About 110 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.

As of 08:00, the attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in Ukrainian airspace.
