Russia’s logistics hub, drone control points and electronic warfare systems are hit, Ukraine's General Staff says

Units of Ukraine's defence forces have struck a Russian logistics hub, a cluster of military personnel, drone control points and electronic warfare equipment.

Details: The General Staff said a cluster of Russian military personnel at the Prymorskyi Posad training ground near the settlement of Prymorskyi Posad in occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast was hit.

Ukrainian forces on the South Slobozhanshchyna front also struck a Russian 300mm 9K515 Tornado-S multiple-launch rocket system. The system, described as a lighter and more versatile version of the Smerch, can hit targets at ranges of up to 120km.

In occupied Donetsk Oblast, a Russian logistics hub was hit near the city of Makiivka.

Ukraine's defence forces struck a drone command post belonging to a unit of the Akhmat special regiment near the settlement of Kucherov in Russia's Kursk Oblast on 4 February; the impact has been confirmed.

In Russia's Bryansk Oblast, a Russian electronic warfare station was hit near the village of Kistyor.

The General Staff also confirmed that, following earlier actions, Ukrainian attack drones struck a radar station of an S-400 air defence missile system on 4 February near the settlement of Krasnoye in Russia's Belgorod Oblast.

The General Staff said that Russia's losses and the extent of damage are being confirmed.

Background:

  • Units from Ukraine's defence forces carried out strikes on a number of Russian military facilities on the night of 2-3 February. According to the General Staff, a Russian training centre for drone operators and FPV drone production, as well as military personnel, were hit.
  • Units from Ukraine's Special Operations Forces have carried out successful strikes using FP-2 drones against Russian military facilities in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine over the past few days.
