Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has confirmed that the next round of negotiations on ending the war in Ukraine will be held soon, but it will not take place in the United States.

Details: When asked whether the next talks could take place in the United States, Peskov replied: "No, I don't think so. That was not discussed."

He added that the new round of negotiations will take place soon.
Previously, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the next meetings within the framework of the negotiation process on ending the war are already being planned, and they may take place in the US.
Background:
- According to a communiqué on the outcome of the trilateral talks held in Abu Dhabi on 4-5 February, the US, Ukrainian and Russian delegations discussed methods for implementing a ceasefire and monitoring the cessation of hostilities.
- Following the Abu Dhabi talks, the US and Russia have agreed to resume high-level military dialogue.
