US State Department approves possible US$185m sale of military spare parts to Ukraine

The US Department of State has approved a potential sale of spare parts and related support equipment to Ukraine worth around US$185 million.

Details: The package mainly includes Class IX spare parts, which are components used to repair and maintain military equipment supplied to Ukraine by the US. The request also covers logistics elements and software support.

The estimated total value of the package is US$185 million.

Background: In December 2025, US President Donald Trump signed the defence budget bill for the 2026 fiscal year, allocating US$901 billion, which provides for assistance to Ukraine.
