Details: Vladyslav Belbas, director of Ukrainian Armor, a company which promotes Bohdana for export, said the system was first transported to Slovakia after receiving a temporary state permit. It was then delivered by a Ukrainian An-124 Ruslan aircraft, which transported the 28-tonne Bohdana to the open exhibition area at World Defence Show 2026.

Ukrainian Armor aims to showcase the Ukrainian product on one of the world's largest arms markets.

Quote from Belbas: "We must be present and bring to the market developments that have been tested on the battlefield and may be exported in the future. We aim to sustain interest in the Ukrainian defence industry among local customers and potential partners for joint production."

  • Ukraine's Ground Forces previously reported that the Bohdana self-propelled system and its towed version account for about 40% of artillery on the front.
  • Ukraine and Germany will jointly produce 200 Bohdana units on Mercedes-Benz chassis.
