A Russian drone attacked a civilian car in the Sumy hromada on 8 February, injuring the 19-year-old driver and a 16-year-old passenger. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

"The 19-year-old driver and a 16-year-old passenger have been injured. They have been hospitalised. Their lives are not in danger," the Sumy Oblast Prosecutor's Office said.

A pre-trial investigation is underway under the supervision of the Sumy District Prosecutor's Office into the commission of war crimes (Article 438.1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
