Russian forces have attacked an energy facility in Volyn Oblast.

Details: Karpus added that water is currently being supplied via the electricity network, wastewater treatment plants are operating on generators and some boiler houses have switched to generator power.

"The boilers are being fired up. Fuel is available. All the appropriate services have been deployed. The situation is under control," he said.

He promised to provide further updates later.

For reference: The city of Novovolynsk is located just a few kilometres from the border with Poland.
