Ukraine House to open at Munich Security Conference for first time
A Ukraine House will open at the Munich Security Conference in Munich, Germany, for the first time on 12 February.

Details: The Ukraine House in Munich will be opened by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in partnership with the Munich Security Conference, the Office of the President of Ukraine and the National Association Of Ukrainian Defense Industries.
The Ukraine House will operate from 12 to 14 February.
An exhibition will be presented at the Ukraine House on 13 February highlighting threats to Europe's security and its capacity to change at the necessary speed.
On 14 February, the ninth Ukrainian Lunch titled "Future's Frontline" will take place on the occasion of the Munich Security Conference.
Speakers expected at the Ukrainian Lunch include the presidents of Czechia, Finland and Latvia – Petr Pavel, Alexander Stubb and Edgars Rinkēvičs.
Prime ministers of Croatia, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden – Andrej Plenković, Mette Frederiksen, Dick Schoof, Jonas Gahr Støre and Ulf Kristersson – will also participate.
It should be noted that discussions were also held at the Ukraine House during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Background:
- Recently, the Munich Security Conference announced the withdrawal of its invitation to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi after criticism from the German government.
- It was also reported that Alexander Hoffmann, leader of the Bavarian Christian Social Union (CSU) group in the Bundestag, had previously stated that the far-right party Alternative for Germany should not be admitted to the Munich Security Conference.
- However, on 29 December it became known that Alternative for Germany was nevertheless invited to the event.
