Ukrainian skeleton racer wears remembrance helmet at 2026 Olympics training despite IOC ban

Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych has chosen to defy the decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), which prohibits him from using a helmet featuring images of Ukrainian athletes killed due to Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

Background: It was reported earlier that the IOC has reached what it described as a "compromise" with Heraskevych, suggesting that he wear a black armband instead of the remembrance helmet.
