Ukrainian companies unveil SEEDIS autonomous interceptor capable of vertical take-off
Ukrainian company System Electronic Export (SEE) and the National Association of Ukrainian Defense Industries (NAUDI) have unveiled the SEEDIS interceptor designed to counter enemy drones. The development has been presented at the World Defence Show 2026 in Riyadh.

Details: The SEEDIS processes data in real time and provides autonomous guidance to detect, track and destroy enemy UAVs.
The interceptor can operate independently or as part of a broader air defence command-and-control environment. When integrated with the Krechet air defence tactical group command centre, it enables multiple interceptors to operate in a coordinated manner, performing centralised target detection, threat prioritisation, and intelligent target allocation.
The SEEDIS is positioned as a layered air defence solution. Its key features include autonomy, rapid launch and minimal response time. It is also capable of vertical take-off without additional launch equipment.
The developers state that the interceptor has high manoeuvrability against moving targets and operates in electronic warfare conditions.
The system has a tactical range of 18 km, extending up to 36 km when carrying a payload. Its standard flight endurance is up to 18 minutes, while a maximum-speed flight lasts 8 minutes.
The interceptor's maximum altitude is 5,000 m, cruising speed is 190 km/h and maximum speed is 320 km/h. SEEDIS is equipped with day, night and thermal imaging cameras and can detect targets at distances of 500-1,000 m. The warhead can be activated by an operator or by artificial intelligence.
Previously: Ukrainian company General Cherry has developed a new interceptor drone called General Cherry AIR Speed, which has a maximum speed of 236 km/h.
