Mykolaiv combined heat and power plant shuts down after Russian attack

A combined heat and power plant (CHP) was shut down in Mykolaiv, following Russian attacks, while Mykolaivvodokanal and Mykolaivoblteploenergo partially switched to generators.

Quote from Kim: "Last night, yesterday's Russian attack caused a failure in the oblast's power supply system.
Mykolaiv and part of the settlements in the Mykolaiv district lost power. The Mykolaiv CHP plant underwent an emergency shutdown. Facilities belonging to Mykolaivvodokanal [water supply service] and Mykolaivoblteploenergo [heating supply service] partially switched to generators."
Details: Kim reported that energy and heating specialist employees worked throughout the night. As of 07:15, power supply has been restored to all consumers. He emphasised that recovery work will continue throughout the day.
Background:
- Earlier, Russian UAV attacks on Mykolaiv damaged transport infrastructure.
- It was also reported that the energy supply situation in Odesa and Mykolaiv oblasts remained difficult, as well as in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, following the nighttime attacks.
